X-MEN 3

IGN's FilmForce is bashing some rumors. After another site alleged that "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" actor Mike Vogel was in line for a pair of wings, playing Angel. FilmForce's sources say he backed out for a role in Wolfgang Peterson's "The Poseidon Adventure."

HULK 2

Comingsoon.net did an interview with special effects guru Dennis Muren, who talked about whether or not he's on board for a gamma-powered sequel. "I heard they're talking about doing a sequel with a guy in a suit," Muren said, "which is probably what they should have done the first time. I don't know if Ang is going to do it. I thought Ang was going to make a movie like 'Jekyll and Hyde,' and I thought we were going to get into something really serious with it, but the studio wanted this other movie."

SPIDER-MAN 3

Variety reports that, with the villains Thomas Haden Church and Topher Grace locked in, filming will start January 2, 2006.

SUPERMAN

According to Comics Continuum, "The Adventures of Superman: The Complete First Season," a five-disc set featuring the television series from the 1950s that starred George Reeve as Superman, will be released on August 18th, retailing at $39.98.
