It's still a few months before the debut of Bat-verse prequel series "Gotham" on Fox, but the network is hoping to stay on viewers' minds up until the series premiere date. On Wednesday, Fox released a new 30-second clip focusing on three of the show's villains -- or in the case of two of them, villains-in-training.

Spotlighted in the video are gang boss Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett-Smith), plus the show's young versions of The Penguin/Oswald Cobblepot (Robin Lord Taylor) and Catwoman/Selina Kyle (Camren Bicondova).

"How will a little girl, a low-level thug, a business woman become the most dangerous villains around?" asks the narration from series lead Ben McKenzie, who plays James Gordon in his pre-commissioner days. "Simple answer: They all got their start in this city."

Based on DC Comics' Batman mythos, "Gotham" is scheduled to air at 8 p.m. Mondays this fall on Fox.
