Fox's upcoming DC Comics-based drama "Gotham" is set to have a significant presence at Comic-Con International in San Diego next week, and a new promo for the show has surfaced eight days before the convention.

In the 45-second spot, James Gordon (Ben McKenzie) narrates, over shots of the show's villainous cast, that he's come back to Gotham City because he's cares -- even if he's the only one who does. "Gotham" is set to premiere on Fox on Sept. 22, but before that, the pilot will be screened at Comic-Con the night of Saturday, July 26, as part of Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment's TV presentation.
