Following the debut of an all-new, female Thor on "The View," Marvel Comics has announced plans to unveil another new title on a major television show. Tonight, "The Colbert Report" will feature a return appearance by Marvel CCO Joe Quesada to reveal an all-new comic series featuring 'one of Marvel's most classic Super Heroes."
Quesada is no stranger to the Comedy Central show, having appeared on it in support of a number projects, as far back as his time as editor-in-chief of Marvel Comics. And Colbert himself is well-versed in the world of comics, running for president in the Marvel Universe, covering comic book-related events and regularly including references to the medium in his jokes. In 2008, Colbert's sci-fi parody creation "Tek Jansen" was adapted into comics form by Oni Press.
Check out Quesada's first "Colbert Show" appearance below, including the former EiC discussing "Civil War" with Colbert and presenting a replica Captain America shield to the host, and check back with CBR for more on the announced series!
