Official Press Release

JSA CLASSIFIED #1, presenting the long-awaited origin of Power Girl, has sold out at DC Comics one day after reaching stores on July 20. This issue features the first part of the 4-issue story "Power Trip," written by Geoff Johns and illustrated by Amanda Conner & Jimmy Palmiotti.

Now, DC Comics sends the issue back to press for a new printing featuring a pencil version of the cover by Adam Hughes!

"Wow!" says Conner. "I knew that JSA CLASSIFIED would do pretty well, 'cause when I'm at conventions a lot of people tell me that they love Power Girl...but I had no idea the book would sell out and go to a second printing. Woo-hoo!"

"The response to this issue from readers and retailers has been very positive," says Bob Wayne, DC's VP - Sales. "Retailers should place orders on the new printing as soon as possible, as well as increasing orders on upcoming issues."

JSA CLASSIFIED #1 Second Printing (JUN058143) is available for order now and is scheduled to arrive in stores on August 17 with a cover price of $2.50 U.S. To ensure delivery on that date retailers must place orders by Sunday, August 7; please note that quantities will be limited and may sell out before August 7. DC urges retailers to place orders as soon as possible to avoid missing out.
