Earlier this month, Marvel revealed that a new, female God of Thunder -- identity still unrevealed -- would star in a relaunched "Thor" series beginning in October. That news, which first broke on ABC daytime talk show "The View," made international headlines -- but there's still story left to tell in writer Jason Aaron's currently ongoing "Thor: God of Thunder" series.

That volume is set to wrap in September with issue #25 from Aaron and artists Esad Ribic, Simon Bisley and R.M. Guéra. The issue will arrive with three variant covers, one spotlighting each of the three Thor eras that the book has featured -- young Thor, contemporary "Avengers" Thor and old King Thor -- and CBR has the exclusive first look at two of them. Bisley illustrates young Thor on his cover, and Guéra -- Aaron's collaborator on the celebrator Vertigo series "Scalped" -- draws King Thor.

EXCLUSIVE: From left, "Thor: God of Thunder" #25 variant covers by Simon Bisley and R.M. Guéra.

And here's a look at the previously released main cover for the book, by Ribic (left), plus the present-day Thor variant by Milo Manara.
