Official Press Release

BERKELEY, CA -- 27 July, 2005 -- BODY BAGS: FATHER'S DAY #1, the reprint of Jason Pearson's previously sold out mini-series, is on pace to sell out again! The initial inventory sent to Diamond Comic Distributors has been depleted, with back orders from retailers adding up. With this in mind, 12 Gauge Comics, through its publisher Image Comics, has decided to send all of their personal copies to Diamond.

12 Gauge President Keven Gardner had this to say: "I am ecstatic about the response so far to BODY BAGS! Our initial order numbers came in strong, so we did an aggressive overprint. Just a few days have gone by, and the book is out of stock. I talked with Jason, and we've decided to send all of the extra copies we had printed for ourselves to Diamond to get them into stores immediately. We won't have copies to sell at cons and give to friends, but we'd much rather get them in the hands of the fans the best way, and that is through the retailers."

Creator Jason Pearson is equally enthusiastic, saying "I can't believe how the fans keep responding to BODY BAGS. This gets me even more excited as I work on the new BODY BAGS material."

Retailers who would like to place re-orders on the first issue can do so using Diamond order code MAY051527 . Advance re-orders on the second issue can be placed using order code JUN051772.
