"The Flash" is set to race on screen in October on the CW, and three of its stars, Grant Gustin (Barry Allen/The Flash), Candice Patton (Iris West) and Danielle Panabaker (Caitlin Snow) stopped by the CBR Yacht at Comic-Con International 2014 to speak with CBR executive producer Jonah Weiland about their time so far filming the series, their excitement about entering the world of "Arrow" and more.

On the expectations for "The Flash" set by "Arrow": "I don't think intimidating is the word," said Gustin. "It's nice because Andrew [Kriesberg] and Greg [Berlanti] have won the fans' trust already, so I kind of expected a little bit more of fans questioning how we're going to do it, but there hasn't been much of it, I think because they know these guys know what they're doing."

"I think having a fan base with 'Arrow' and how excited they are with that show, I think they're going to like 'Flash' just as much," said Patton. "It's the same team, like Grant was saying. The special effects are amazing, so there's just more for fans to fall in love with on 'The Flash.'"

On how much they've been briefed on their characters: "At this point, not too much," said Panabaker. "It's fun just to get to delve into Caitlin and Barry Allen and The Flash and his super-speed. Right now, it's focusing on those new rogues and meta-humans that are coming into town."

On Gustin emoting joy of running at super speed: "It's a pretty direct correlation to Barry being excited about this happening to him and me being super excited that I'm getting to play this role," said Gustin. "I don't have to reach too deep to find the excitement."

On wanting to be a part of the action sequences: "I would love to do any action," said Patton. "I want to do the green screen, I want to do all of that."

"It's great," said Panabaker. "They do such a good job on the show, it's really exciting to see."

On working on "Arrow": "The character was already really well established and really well-written on 'Arrow,'" said Gustin. "It was pretty clear what it was going to become if we got our own pilot and everything. Stephen [Amell] was really welcoming -- I just had a lot of fun working with them."
