A lot of running around today precluded too much photo taking, but there's plenty below to keep you satisfied before the crush of Saturday at Wizard World Chicago. I did witness a humorous moment before the convention in the Hyatt Gift Shop this morning before the convention.

As I walked into the gift shop to pick up a Diet Pepsi, I saw Brian Bendis talking to two fans who asked if they could take a picture with the scribe. The ever affable Bendis agreed. Once he was done I said hi, then went and got my drink. As I made my way back to pay for my drink, Bendis had left and one of the two fans was on the floor, worshiping the writer as though it were some scene out of "Wayne's World." Of course, Bendis had no clue this was going on behind him as he was on the way to the convention center. Although, now he knows that fans bow wildly once he leaves a room. Dude, you're doing something right!

Allright, on with the show! Although, you should be warned-- I've had nine hours sleep in the last 48 hours. Creativity ain't high on the list of brain functions right now.

I've decided that dudes in Ghostbusters costumers are the new Stormtroopers. Some blue dude from "Full Metal Alchemist" I'm told.
Those fine folk at Desperadoe Publishing. "The Looking Glass Wars" writer Frank Beddor
Mike Mayhew ("Pulse," "She-Hulk") and Takeshi Miyazawa ("Mary Jane") Doug Mahnke
J. Scott Campbell The Aspen crew (L-R) of Koi Turnbull, Beth Sotelo, Micah Gunnell, Peter Steigerwald and Michael Turner
I think the chick in white actually fell asleep as I took her picture. Some mighty Marvel costumes.
The Joker card held by Gary Oldman in "Batman Begins." Me trying to get another shot of that Scarecrow costume without much luck. Damned reflective surfaces!
Manos, Hands of Fate. Some MST3K reference. Me, I've never watched the show, so it could be some new, weird cult for all I know. "Ant" co-writer Marc Hammond
Tom Mandrake & Jan Duursema Mark Englert & incoming CBR columnist Erik Larsen (Pssst, his column starts this Thursday!)
I can't remember if this guy said he was a Sith Bounty Hunter or a Jedi Bounty Hunter. Not like it really matters. Part of the "Fear Agent" crew: Tony Moore, Rick Remender & Sean Parsons.
Another, softer look at the "Fear Agent" crew. "Tales of the Bully Pulpit" writer Benito Cereno
I'm not sure. She-Ra? Holy crap, someone stole the Scarecrow costume. SECURITY! DUDE'S IN ORANGE SHIRTS!!! COME QUICK!
You know, I kinda feel sorry for dudes
who bought "Batman & Robin" era
Batman and Robin costumes. I really do.
