With "Ant-Man's" principal photography already begun this week, star Evangeline Lilly has posted some of the first behind-the-scenes photos featuring her look as Hope Van Dyne to Instagram. The photos -- one of her and another with with co-star Paul Rudd, reveal a close look at her shorter hairstyle very reminiscent of the 1960s version of The Wasp by John Buscema and George Klein.

Lilly was announced as part of the "Ant-Man" cast during Comic-Con International 2014, after being rumored for the female lead for months. While the specifics of her role are not yet completely known, her character -- Hope Van Dyne -- is the daughter of Michael Douglas' Hank Pym.

Directed by Peyton Reed and releasing July 17, 2015, "Ant-Man" also stars Judy Greer, Wood Harris, John Slattery, Corey Stoll, Bobby Canavale, Michael Pena, Abby Ryder Fortson, David Dastmalchian, Gregg Turkington and T.I.
