CBR spoke with the cast and crew of "Constantine" at Comic-Con International 2014, who discussed how close it will follows the story in the comics.
"Before Constantine was introduced in 'Swamp Thing,' nobody knew who John Constantine was," said executive producer Daniel Cerone. "The entry point for the TV show, he's the same guy, at the same point, immediately after Newcastle, that comic book fans met. It's that Constantine that our viewers are going to meet and we're going to build his story out. There's a lot of talk when we were pitching the show, is he going to have demon blood in him? Is he going to trick the devil? There's so many great things that happen in his evolution, but we're starting from a character that everybody can get to know."

Digital Spy spoke with Jon Hamm about the rumors of him being in talks for the lead role of Marvel's "Doctor Strange" film. The actor denied the rumors, saying he hadn't actually been approached as of yet.
"The funny thing about the Internet is you can have rumors go on about possible jobs and possible things that I had no idea," Hamm told Digital Spy. "Maybe! I don't know. It's funny when the Internet knows more about it when you do, but maybe they've been talking to somebody high up at -- maybe the Internet was talking to Marvel. No, I certainly wasn't approached, but I do like Doctor Strange. He's a cool, cool character."
