SMALLVILLE

As we get closer to the new season, the news comes fast and furious, with Kryptonsite leading the way. First up is a look at three new promotional posters which show the usual suspects and the show's new academic blood. They also have almost fifty screen captures of the trailer for the season premiere, "Arrival" (or you could just pop over to the WB's site and check the trailer out yourself in Windows Media).

In related news, Comics Continuum finishes up their edited transcript of the panel with two Loises (Loisi?) featuring Margot Kidder and Erica Durance (they just added the new stuff at the bottom), who dodged the rumor that Lois will be doing some stripping this season. "I'm just saying the show is becoming a little more adult. I can't let anything out."

SUPERMAN II?

Speaking of, in yesterday's coverage, Margot Kidder mentioned an unreleased Richard Donner cut of the classic film, and John Hardin emailed us to point out this link which discusses all of the Donner footage in a "restored international cut" that they found somewhere. Some spoilers ensue for what's a very different movie experience than what you may remember.

JUSTICE LEAGUE

According to Comics Continuum, Giselle Loren is providing the voice of Stargirl in an upcoming episode called "Heart of Stone," taking the heroes to Skartaris. The Continuum also has a run down of all of the Cartoon Network's animated DC-related shows for the rest of the month, including "JLU," "Teen Titans," "Static Shock" and "Krypto."

Meanwhile, Toon Zone has episode titles for a bit further down the line.

QUIET ON THE SET

Sheesh, the news is slow these days. If you have the scoop on anything related to comic book movies, TV adaptations or just want to give us a briefcase full of cash, no questions asked, drop us a line and let's coordinate. You can choose an alias if you'd like, or be mentioned by name -- we honor requests for anonymity. Broadcasting live from Los Angeles, this is your humble scribe Hannibal Tabu saying thanks for your time and indulgence, and "don't blame me, I'm drunk too!"
