V FOR VENDETTA

There's a new photo of Natalie Portman in character as Evey Hammond over at this German site.

PUNISHER 2

In the Mailbag column at Moviehole, their columnist Clint has an update on how things are going for the blood-soaked sequel. "Thomas Jane's so busy at the moment – doing his own projects – I argue to see where and how he's going to fit in another outing as Frank Castle. Still, Lionsgate says its happening – so it must be happening, right? Marvel's vice chairman Peter Cuneo said during a webcast at the Thomas Weisel Partners Consumer Conference that it's on target for a late 2006 release. I believe the script has been signed, sealed and delivered to Ari."

GHOST RIDER

What? You couldn't fight your way through the Flash 8-based madness to get a look at Johnny Blaze in his full glory? You can still catch some screen captures at Comic Book Movie, as well as some quotes from director Mark Steven Johnson over at Comics Continuum, answering the age old question, "how'd dey do dat?"

QUIET ON THE SET

Whew, getting kinda slow around here, eh? Well, here's where you get in on the action. Did you see a link we didn't catch? Have you snuck into a closed movie set, and have inside data? Maybe your cousin is dating somebody who knows something, and they had to tell you? Whatever it is, we wanna know it all -- fire off an email and let us know whether you want your name used or your contributions to geekdom to go down anonymously. Broadcasting live from Los Angeles, this is novelist/reviewer/karaoke host/all-around lunatic Hannibal Tabu saying thanks for your time and indulgence, and [tagline sent back to development hell until something hipper can be dreamed up].
