Official Press Release

Chicago, IL – January 25, 2006 – Devil's Due Publishing, Inc., one of the nation's top comic book publishers, unveils attainment of its most anticipated property yet, FAMILY GUY –based on the award winning, #1 ranked animated series! Look for the first issue slated for April 2006!

FAMILY GUY, the show ranked #1 in its FOX timeslot among men 18-34 and teens 12-17, as well as the highest ranked program showing on both Cartoon Network and TBS, with the quickest selling TV DVD in history (Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story), recently became the only television show in history to become more popular after cancellation, returning for a bona fide new hit season – and now comic books!

Join Peter (dad), Lois (mom), Chris (son), Meg (daughter), Stewie (malevolent toddler bent on world domination), and Brian (talking dog who prefers his martinis extra dry) for all-new comic book adventures! The new comics, slated to begin in April, by FAMILY GUY writer Matt Fleckenstein, and illustrator Benjamin Phillips, will meld the cult comedy of the show with DDP's unique graphic storytelling! The Family Guy will be written as if by the characters with the feel of a humor novelty book. The beginning and end of the book will feature advice from the characters and interspersed will be more traditional comic book stories all written by Matt Fleckenstein (Family Guy TV show writer).

"I've been a huge FAMILY GUY fan since the show first premiered, after the Super Bowl in 1999," grins Devil's Due Publishing's President Josh Blaylock. "I'm beyond excited that DDP nabbed the Family Guy license. Not only is just about every comic book reader ALREADY a huge fan, but so many people outside of comics are as well."

"The FAMILY GUY franchise is growing exponentially-and adding Devil's Due Publishing to our family of creative licensee's provides a wonderful opportunity to reach fans of the television series via a whole new medium" notes Michael Peikoff, 20th Century Fox Vice President, Domestic Licensing. "The comic books are highly anticipated and with the pedigree of writer Matt Fleckenstein –these comics will be a seamless extension of the FAMILY GUY brand".

Family Guy: 100 Ways to Kill Lois by Stewie Griffin Vol. 1 [of 3] (FEB062980) - 48 pgs, FC, $6.95, Perfect Bound – FAMILY GUY steps out of the TV screen and into a new bimonthly series from Devil's Due! Each of the three volumes in this series focuses on one of the star characters, and their views on life... however skewed they may be! Want advice from Peter or Stewie? Probably not, but they're going to give it to you anyway! IN between these hilarious one-on-one segments are stories rivaled only by the TV show itself. Written by FAMILY GUY writer Matt Fleckenstein.
