X-MEN 3

Total Film has a report on the secrecy gripping the set of the mutant minded movie. Um, you cant say anything about that, said actress Famke Janssen. I cant say anything about my character. I can talk about the weather, though... Vancouver is partly cloudy, with a 30 percent chance of rain.

Empire Online has two new collectible covers, but you can see them online before they hit newsstands.

AQUAMAN

Variety (subscription required) is reporting that Ving Rhames will star in the CW's untitled "Aquaman" project.

SMALLVILLE

Speaking of WB/CW shows, are you missing the Chloe Chronicles during these rerun filled days? Well, you can check out the advertiser-fueled Vengeance Chronicles which features original content never seen on the show that's supplemental to the story. You can get a look at the pre-Clark capes-and-masks crowd in Metropolis while waiting for new episodes.

V FOR VENDETTA

Comics Continuum has some quotes from actress Natalie Portman talks about getting down to her bare pate. "It's been really nice to step away from vanity a little bit," she said. "The time you spend on your appearance as a woman -- if you put all that together you'd have an extra 10 years of your life. It's been great to get away from that. But at the same time, it takes a really long time to grow back, so the sooner, the better!" She was shaved on screen by the film's hair stylist Jeremy Woodhead while multiple cameras captured the one-take only moment.

BATMAN BEGINS 2

The latest rumor at Batman-On-Film is that "Hugo Weaving and Hugh Jackman are in the Bat-Sequel mix as The Joker and Harvey Dent respectively." This is, we repeat, only a rumor, reprinted from an Australian magazine called Rock City.

SANDY, CAN WE ROLL THAT CLIP?

Coincidentally, Malcolm Little (also known as El Hajj Malik El-Shabazz, or more popularly Malcolm X) was killed forty one years ago today, so anedge hirak and all that.

Here's where you get in on the action. Did you see a link we didn't catch? Have you snuck into a closed movie set, and have inside data? Maybe your cousin is dating somebody who knows something, and they had to tell you? Whatever it is, we wanna know it all -- fire off an email and let us know whether you want your name used or your contributions to geekdom to go down anonymously. Broadcasting live from Los Angeles, this is novelist/karaoke host/all-around lunatic Hannibal Tabu saying thanks for your time and indulgence, and [tagline sent back to development hell until something hipper can be dreamed up].
