It's that time of year again, as comic book and pop culture fans from all over the world will converge in San Diego to experience Comic-Con International, North America's largest and highest profile convention of this sort. With over 100,000 fans expected to make the pilgrimage to this veritable Mecca, you're going to need some kind of early planning in order to know when and where to be. Sure, you know about your favorite Marvel and DC panels, with the latter having a booth that you can't miss, but there's lots of other exciting publishers at the show and we at CBR News would be remiss in not telling you what's going on with the rest of the comic book world. In the first of a two-part series, we're bringing you a sampling of some of the attendees at Comic-Con International. Some companies contacted us through press releases, and in other cases we spoke directly to representatives of the companies, with standard questions for all, so some companies' information may be more detailed.

If you're an exhibitor who'd like to be included in our second article, please e-mail us at news@comicbookresources.com and we'll include you in the second article.

Image Comics

Image Comics is no stranger to comic book fans and as PR/Marketing Coordinator Jim Demonakos told CBR News, the company has a lot of plans for the convention.

Image needs no real introduction – everyone reading this should know who you guys are, so tell us where we can find your booth at the convention. Any big flashing lights, signs or anything else we should keep our eyes open for?

#2729. Nothing flashy, we're set up with dozens of Image Comics creators all weekend long at our booth.

What do you have for sale or distribution at the booth? Any convention exclusives?

There will be comic books and trade paperbacks at the booth for sale, along with t-shirts and posters. Exclusive-wise, throughout the show, creators will have exclusive books, prints and more!

Will there be any signings, raffles, or other events at the booth that fans should aim to schedule into their plans?
