DC announces an assortment of new DVDs and videos including 'Justice League'

On April 23, the World's Greatest Super Heroes - including Superman, Batman,

Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern, Hawkgirl and Martian Manhunter -

join forces for the feature-length VHS and DVD debut of Justice League from

Warner Home Video (WHV). Justice League is available on VHS for $14.95 SRP

($9.95 MAP) and on DVD for $19.98 SRP ($14.95 MAP).

This release and those listed below will be solicited in the DIRECT CURRENTS

section of the February issue of Previews (Volume XII #2) on a special page

that also shows related DC backlist items including the BATMAN ADVENTURES TP

(STAR07586), the BATMAN ADVENTURES: THE LOST YEARS TP (STAR08716), the

BATMAN: DARK KNIGHT ADVENTURES TP (STAR07622), the BATMAN: GOTHAM ADVENTURES

TP (STAR11156), the SUPERMAN: THE ADVENTURES OF THE MAN OF STEEL TP

(STAR07746), and the BATMAN BEYOND TP (STAR10669). (Please note that orders

of Warner Home Video DVDs and VHS tapes do not count toward DC Comics

discounts.)

Everyone's favorite Caped Crusader swoops onto shelves with four new DVDs

including Batman: The Animated Series - The Legend Begins available on DVD

for $19.98 SRP ($14.95 MAP), and for the first time on VHS for $14.95 SRP

($9.95 MAP). Batman & Mr. Freeze: SubZero and The Batman Superman Movie

chill the competition with their DVD debuts priced at $19.98 SRP ($14.95

MAP) and $14.93 SRP on VHS. Batman's most notorious nemesis has another

trick up his sleeve as Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker - The Original,

Uncut Version allows fans to see the film like never before on DVD for

$19.98 SRP ($14.95 SRP).

The Joker gets the last laugh as WHV reprices the original version of Batman

Beyond: Return of The Joker (winner of the 2001 Annie Award for outstanding

achievement in an animated home video production) to a new, low $14.94 SRP

($9.95 MAP) on VHS and $19.98 SRP ($14.95 MAP) on DVD.

A national television, print and online advertising campaign targeting kids

and parents will add immense support to these titles.
