PHOENIX, AZ - Samurai Comics is pleased to announce that a portion of proceeds from the online sales of their Wolverine Origins #5 variant edition will benefit A.C.T.O.R. Comic Fund. This rare variant edition features a sketch cover by artist Joe Quesada with the Samurai Comics logo and "Phoenix Comicon 2006" on the cover.

The Samurai Comics variant sketch edition of Wolverine Origins #5 will be available for sale at the Phoenix Comicon September 23-24 exclusively at the Samurai Comics booth. Fans who can't make the convention, or who want to secure a copy in advance of the convention can order a copy now at www.samuraicomics.com or by calling Samurai Comics directly at 602-265-8886.

1000 copies of this rare variant edition are available online for $14.99. $5 from each copy sold online will go to A.C.T.O.R.

In addition the first 20 copies graded at 9.8 by CGC will be available for $49.99 each. 100% of the proceeds from sales of these CGC 9.8 copies will benefit A.C.T.O.R. Each of these issues will come with a certificate stating that they are a part of the first 20 CGC 9.8 copies that were professionally graded.

In addition, everyone purchasing a copy will be entered into a drawing to win prizes that include CGC 9.8 copies of the variant and copies signed by cover artist Joe Quesada. Fans will get one entry per book purchased.
