Official Press Release

Chicago, IL – After much deliberation and some ponderous waiting, Devil's Due Publishing, Inc. President Josh Blaylock (HOW TO SELF-PUBLISH COMICS…NOT JUST CREATE THEM) proudly proclaims a winner in his How To Self-Publish Comics Helping Hand Contest. Daniel Thompson's The Dominus, climbed above the clamor of competition to secure the grand prize, free one-on-one consultation from Josh Blaylock during Daniel's self-publishing experience.

The Dominus tells the tale of six childhood friends reuniting to embark upon an adventure to protect a holy artifact! Their adventure draws them into the eternal struggle between good and evil…changing their lives inexorably in the process.

Additionally, three runners-up were chosen: Eric Carlson's The American God, Van Studivant's T.H.E.M. The Movement, and Matt Kubinski's Superbia. Each runner up will receive a one-time half-hour consultation session with Blaylock.

Anyone looking to pick up the collected trade paperback edition of HOW TO SELF PUBLISH COMICS... NOT JUST CREATE THEM (JUN063058/ ISBN 1932796673), which includes a new bonus chapter on Selling Your Comics to Hollywood, is available next week (Sept. 13) in all comic shops and books stores.

Congratulations to the winner and runners-up! And keep your eyes peeled for The Dominus!
