Official Press Release

BERKELEY, CA -- Continuing the string of successful anthologies produced by Image Comics, LOW ORBIT VOLUME ONE hits shelves with a blast this November.

This fresh new anthology series will feature the talents of a variety of up-and-comers, including Nick Bradshaw (Danger Girl: Back in Black), Sean "Cheeks" Galloway (Hellboy Animated, Teen Titans Go), Alina Galloway (Boondocks Animated), Ryan Odagawa (Twinblades), Jonboy Meyers (Spider-Man/Arana), Allison Strom, Kevin Dalton, Mark Andrew Smith (Amazing Joy Buzzards) and Michael Woods! The cover was provided by Sean and Alina Galloway

"LOW ORBIT began as a simple project among friends," explains Michael Woods. "A modest book to sell for various conventions where we could have fun and each do our own thing. It has since grown into something much more ambitious."

LOW ORBIT features seven different stories, ranging from science fiction to fantasy and mythology. "With this book, you get a little action, a little suspense, even a bit of comedy," says Woods. "There is a little something for everyone!"

LOW ORBIT VOLUME ONE (SEP061790) is a 64-page full color anthology retailing for $6.99 and is available for pre-ordering now in the September Previews. It is scheduled to be in-stores November 15th, 2006. For more information, visit http://loworbit.blogspot.com/
