Official Press Release

Wilson Place Comics has selected Diamond Book Distributors as the exclusive worldwide distributor of English-language editions of its publications to the bookstore, library, mass merchandise, specialty mass merchandise, hobby, game and comic book specialty markets.

Wilson Place is the publisher of the popular, kid-friendly graphic novel WJHC -- a hip, funny look at the misadventures of an unlikely group of teens starting a school radio station. Created by Jane Smith Fisher, WJHC offers girls and boys a comic aimed directly and appropriately at them. WJHC is also one of the featured titles recommended by Kids Love Comics, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the development and growth of children's comics.

"For years, Diamond has been reaching out to schools and librarians, helping them to find great graphic novels for children," said Diamond Vice President of Purchasing Bill Schanes. "WJHC definitely fits the bill and we can't wait to share these high quality stories with kids everywhere!"

"I'm thrilled to be teaming up with Diamond and I look forward to working with them in widening the reach of WJHC," said Jane Smith Fisher.

Diamond's Sales Team will begin working with bookstores, book wholesalers, warehouse clubs, mass merchandisers and libraries to bring Wilson Place's WJHC comics to consumers everywhere.
