Official Press Release

Runnemede, NJ – DYNAMITE ENTERTAINMENT announced today that the initial print runs for /Red Sonja #16/ and /New Battlestar Galactica #3/ ongoing comic book series have sold out at the distributor level (Diamond Comic Distributors), and that limited edition variants for both titles are scheduled to fill standing orders. The limited edition cover /for Red Sonja #16/ will feature brand new art by Jim Balent, and the limited edition cover for /New Battlestar Galactica #3/ will feature art by Pat Lee with a variant color on the background.

While still receiving heavy orders and reorders for both titles, Dynamite created these limited edition variants in anticipation of selling out. Diamond made retailers aware of these limited edition variants in last week's /Previews Update/, and response has been overwhelming. Dynamite anticipates selling out of the limited edition variants, as well, and suggests retailers adjust their orders or upcoming issues of both titles.

Part of the world-shattering /The Return of Kulan Gath/ story arc, /Red Sonja #16/ sold out prior to shipping. The issue is a continuation of the controversial events in last month's /Red Sonja #15/. The limited edition variant cover for /Red Sonja #16/ features brand new artwork by Jim Balant, in homage to Frank Thorne. The limited edition variant is available for reorder: *RED SONJA# 16 (SEP068141E).*

With SCI FI's new /Battlestar Galactica/ continuing to excite fans new and old, Dynamite's /New Battlestar Galactica #3/ sold out prior to shipping. The limited edition variant cover for /New Battlestar Galactica #3/ is a variation on the Pat Lee cover (a la /LONE RANGER #2/). The limited edition variant is available for reorder: *BATTLESTAR GALACTICA #3 (SEP068140E).*
