Ft. Lauderdale, FL. – Following the very successful first Florida Supercon last week, we are proud to announce our plans for 2007.
Our first show of 2007 will be ANIME SUPERCON: The Ft. Lauderdale Anime Convention (A.S.C.) taking place April 13-15, 2007. A.S.C. will take place in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. A new website has been launced to support the show www.animesupercon.com and will be updated on a regular basis with event information, guests of honor and band info. Tickets for A.S.C. will go on sale next week with pricing as follows: $12 weekend pass (before Jan. 1, 2007), $15 weekend pass (before April 12 ,2007), $20 weekend pass at the door. Children under 10 are free when accompanied by an adult.
FLORIDA SUPERCON: The South Florida Comic Book, Sci-Fi & Anime Convention (F.S.C.) will have its second show June 8-10, 2007 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Fifteen guests have already signed up for the show, including, Alan Burnett (Producer/Writer of Batman: The Animated Series, Batman Beyond, The Batman, The Smurfs, Gobots and more!), Dustin Nguyen (Artist of Batman, Wildcats and The Authority), Ted Mckeever (Artist of Metropol, Eddy Current, Zombies), Joe Pekar (Artist), Allen Bellman (Golden Age Comic Legend), Chris Notarile (Filmmaker of Power Girl: The Classifieds, Catwoman: Principles), Niki Notarile (Actress, Catwoman: Principles), Terribly Odd (Design & Art), Terry Cronin (Creator of Students of the Unusual), Mitch Hyman (Creator of Bubba the Redneck Werewolf), Austin Janowsky (Comic Artist), Greg Kirkpatrick (Comic Artist), Adam-Troy Castro (Author), Carlos Castellanos (Creator of Baldo comic strip) and Joe Fauvel (Comic Artist).
