Official Press Release

Runnemede, NJ – DYNAMITE ENTERTAINMENT releases images and information today regarding the February release of Xena #7, featuring the continuation of the intense Dark Xena storyline from writer John Layman, artist Noah Salonga and colorist Chris Garcia. Xena #7 will be available with covers by Jonathan Lau, Dynamite fan favorite artists Stjepan Sejic and Fabiano Neves, as well as with another great photo cover!

Popularity and praise for Dynamite's ongoing Xena series has been outstanding:

From Jerome Maida's the article "Xena Returns in New comic Series" in the Philadelphia Daily News, "That sound you hear is a familiar 'Yi-Yi-Yi-Yi-Yi' battle cry. Yes, thanks to Dynamite Entertainment, 'Xena' is back in her own comic book series and, based on the first four issues, they have knocked it out of the park. This series will succeed where previous attempts to adapt the popular character to comics have failed."

And from a review of Dynamite books on CWR Weekend Blog by Marc Mason, "As someone who didn't watch the show or have any investment in the characters, I have been pleasantly surprised at how much I've enjoyed this book; Xena and the cast really come across as dynamic and intriguing personalities. I'd read a comic about these people stopping to drink a beer, let alone an action extravaganza like this one. Take into consideration Neves, who is one of the best finds of the year, and this one is simply a keeper"

XENA #7 (DEC06 3492) WRITTEN BY JOHN LAYMAN, ART BY NOAH SALONGA; COLORED BY CHRIS GARCIA; COVER ART BY: FABIANO NEVES (25%), JONATHAN LAU (25%), PHOTO (25%) AND STJEPAN SEJIC (25%)

Dark Xena continues as Gabrielle and Joxer devise a plan to infiltrate Xena's deadly gang and save their friend!
