Boom! Studios has provided CBR News with an advance look at the next issue of the always hilarious "Hero Squared." Created by the architects of the 1980s' smash hit "Justice League" family of titles, Keith Giffen and JM DeMatteis continue to practice their unique style of superheroic comedy in "Hero Squared" #4, which finds series hero Captain Valor in brutal combat with a cloned version of himself. Illustrated by Joe Abraham, issue #4 is eerily evocative of a certain clone drama from the dark days of the 1990s, a terrible tale that's given its just due by Keith Giffen and JM DeMatteis!

HERO SQUARED #4

Written by Keith Giffen and JM DeMatteis

$3.99 full color 32 pages

Finally – some action! Enough with the Bwah-ha-ha! Enough with the characterization! This ish is an all-out slugfest featuring Captain Valor in a knockdown, dragout fight with the genetically modified actor who played Captain Valor in the TV series! What would really happen if two super-powered beings capable of breaking locomotives with their bare hands went to war? Boom! Studios is now the exclusive home of the Giffen-DeMatteis "Bwah-ha-ha" school of comedy!
