DC COMICS ISSUES SHIPPING CREDIT ON ADDITIONAL TITLES
In addition to the previously announced freight credit on SUPERMAN CONFIDENTIAL #1 (SEP060206), DC Comics is issuing freight credits of $0.05 per shipped copy of JLA CLASSIFIED #29 (SEP060233), TEEN TITANS #41 (SEP060256) and ROBIN #156 (SEP060199). This is in response to retailer feedback over added weight caused by advertising supplements.
This credit will be issued to all retailers except those who pick up shipments at Diamond's distribution centers.
ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY PRAISES ACTION COMICS AND ABSOLUTE EDITIONS
The December 8 Entertainment Weekly features a review of ACTION COMICS #844, praising the story's "cinematic bigness," and giving it a grade of A-. THE ABSOLUTE SANDMAN VOL. 1 is featured in this week's "Must List," which calls it "the landmark comic-book series that actually made Death seem cool." ABSOLUTE DC: THE NEW FRONTIER is included in the "Gift Guide 2006," which calls the volume a "graphic wonder."
