DIRECTOR MARK STEVEN JOHNSON and ACTRESS EVA MENDES appear at the LOS ANGELES COMIC BOOK AND SCIENCE FICTION CONVENTION on SUNDAY, JANUARY 14, 2007 to preview scenes and discuss the making of their new Movie, GHOST RIDER, on stage at 2:15 P.M. Free GHOST RIDER Cap and Movie Poster will be given away while supplies last.

ACTRESS KRISTEN STEWART (Panic Room, Zathura) appears on stage at 1:30 P.M. to preview scenes from her new movie, THE MESSENGERS. THE MESSENGERS is a new horror Movie directed by brothers Danny Pang and Oxide Pang, and soon to be a Dark Horse Comic Book.

STAN WINSTON, Special Effects Creator for TERMINATOR, ALIENS, PREDATOR, JURASSIC PARK, and many more, will appear in person for a WORLD PREMIERE BOOK SIGNING AND PRESENTATION for THE WINSTON EFFECT: THE ART AND HISTORY OF STAN WINSTON STUDIO (This is a RESCHEDULED appearance, as STAN was unable to appear at a previous Convention). This 336 hardcover book features an extensive array of previously unpublished sketches, production art, and over 500 photographs from the studio archive, in-depth contributions from Stan and all his creative staff, and information on every film Stan has worked on. Foreward by James Cameron. Stan will appear on stage for a one hour presentation at 11:00 A.M., and from 12:30 P.M.-3:00 P.M. he sign all copies purchased at the Convention of The Winston Effect.

2007 will be the 30th anniversary of the LOS ANGELES COMIC BOOK AND SCIENCE FICTION CONVENTION, with over 300 shows being held, making it one of the longest running Comic Book themed shows in the US.
