New York, NY - Jim Hanley's Universe, a New York City based comic store, will be hosting two cartoonists, Rick Lacy and Eric Wight, known for their animated art style, on Wednesday, February 7th, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.

Rick Lacy will be promoting the new HELLBOY ANIMATED: THE BLACK WEDDING (Dark Horse Comics), based on the recent Hellboy cartoon starring the Mike Mignola created character. The book will be available for purchase on January 31st. This is the first event in Dark Horse's new initiative, Hometown Heroes.

Eric Wight will be appearing to promote his new original manga, MY DEAD GIRLFRIEND (TokyoPop) and the new ACTION COMICS ANNUAL (written by famed director, Richard Donner, and comic superstar, Geoff Johns). Wight is best known as the ghost artist for character Seth Cohen on Fox's THE OC. Wight's books will be available on the day of the signing.

The cartoonists will be appearing in a meet and greet casual setting from 4:00 PM to 6:00.
