[Star Wars: Episode 2 Covers]StarWars.com has revealed some details and unveiled the covers to the upcoming comic book adaptations of "Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones," coming from Dark Horse Comics.

The comics are adapted by Henry Gilory from a script by George Lucas and Jonathan Hales with Jan Duursema and Ray Kryssing providing the artwork. Japanese painter Tsuneo Sanda, a frequent artist of "Star Wars" and "Star Trek" paintings, provides the painted covers to each issue. Alternate photo covers of each issue will also be made available.

For those who prefer the individual comics the adaptation is split into four books with the first two chapters on sale April 24th. Also available on April 24th will be a trade paperback that collects all four issues in one volume. These books will be available three-weeks before the movie hits theatres on May 16th, 2002.
