'Savage Dragon' gears up for #100, plus new TPB on the way

ORANGE, CA -- 6 March, 2002 -- With SAVAGE DRAGON #94 in stores now, Erik

Larsen is only six issues away from making comics history: Larsen's 100th

issue of SAVAGE DRAGON will set a new record for the most consecutive issues

of a comic book written and drawn by a single creator. What's more, Larsen

will be the first and only Image founder to write and draw 100 consecutive

issues of the title he launched in 1992.

Larsen's celebrating the occasion with a 100-page super spectacular,

jam-packed with an all-new 22 page lead story and ten additional back-up

stories, for a total of 88 pages of all-new material written and drawn by

the series' creator. The lead story will be written, penciled and inked by

Larsen, as always, but the back-up stories will be inked by a veritable

who's who of comic book artists and inkers, including Terry Austin, Al

inexhaustible Larsen will also be marking this monumental milestone with an

all-new hardcover, THIS SAVAGE WORLD, collecting SAVAGE DRAGON #76-81.
