Phoenix, Ariz.- Springfield is going Hollywood this summer with the release of the highly anticipated The Simpsons Movie on July 27th, and McFarlane Toys has been tapped to support the film with a new line of intricately detailed action figures. In a licensing agreement with Twentieth Century Fox Licensing & Merchandising, McFarlane Toys will bring The Simpsons Movie characters to 3-D life through the McFarlane touch.

McFarlane Toys' line of products for "The Simpsons Movie" combines incredible character detail with voice chip technology, featuring exclusive dialog from the film. Each figure comes mounted to a customized base, and, as an added feature, the "Movie Mayhem" line of figures come with interlocking bases so the figures can be combined to create one large scene. McFarlane Toys' The Simpsons Movie line will include a 6-inch figure line and three boxed sets.
