INTRO

So I'll admit it: I have no affinity whatsoever for Cyberforce.

I'm just missing that gene, or I'm of that perfect age (yeah, I'm 37; getting old) where I just "missed it." When Cyberforce was selling 4.3 kajillion copies, I was reading Vertigo books or something-American Freak, Jonah Hex and Sandman. So sue me.

So, no. I'm not the guy clamoring for the triumphant return of Velocity. Or whatever. I may not know much, but I know what I like.

And here's what I like: I like Ron Marz. I like a writer who can layer slam-pow battles with deep human drama, deftly moving from one to another in the turn of a page. I like Pat Lee. I have never-NEVER!-seen someone who can do a ground-up character redesign or create amazing technological wonder right outta his skull like Pat.

So would I like a book by Ron Marz and Pat Lee? I think the answer is a pretty simple, "Hell yeah!" And that's what we have this month-on the triumphant return of Top Cow's original flagship title.

Hey, lemme change that admission: I had no affinity whatsoever for Cyberforce. Until now.
