"Manhunter" #30, the final issue no more

Reporting from the New York Comic-Con, CBR's own Rich Johnston has learned that DC Comics' critically acclaimed "Manhunter" series may have been saved from cancellation. Written by Marc Andreyko, the superhero series has drawn acclaim from critics, fans and other pros, all who've been outspoken in efforts to save the book and they'll all likely be pleased by this news. No other details are available yet.

This isn't the first time that "Manhunter" has been saved by fan campaigning, as the series was originally cancelled at issue #25 and then given life in five more issues, all of which have seen the same level of acclaim from all corners. CBR News recently spoke with a number of creators who loved the book, as part of CBR's spotlight on the series, which began with this Andreyko interview.
