My childhood revolved around three things: “The Super Friends,” “Star Wars” and Wayne Gretzky. Not much has changed (some 30 years later) except that I now have an awesome wife, three wonderful children and a full-time job, so my hours with the three previous loves of my life – television, movies and hockey – grows smaller and smaller with each passing year. And that’s a good thing. But thanks to the fine folks at CBR, SFX, Chill, The Hockey News, Dobberhockey and the now deceased, Geek Monthly, Starlog and Cult Times, I still manage to find a few hours each day for Aquaman, Obi-Wan Kenobi and the Coolest Game on Earth.

FIRST COMIC: With my own money, “The Super Friends” #44 (May 1, 1981)

FAVORITE CHARACTER: Superman, The Flash, Aquaman, Bigby Wolf and Dr. Singh
