I'm the guy who runs this joint. It began in 1995 when it was just a site with links to other comic sites. Then in 1996 I launched a "Kingdom Come" fan site that grew a really cool community. I later combined the links site with the message boards and CBR was officially named.

Prior to dedicating myself to CBR, I worked in Los Angeles radio. I was Phil Hendrie's producer/comedy writer for his first three years in Los Angeles and worked with Dr. Laura Schlessinger, LA afternoon talk show hosts John & Ken and numerous other hosts. My first job in radio was as an intern at KIIS FM, working primarily with Magic Matt Allen and Bruce Vidal.

I live in Toluca Lake, CA with my dog Yeager -- named after Chuck, not the alcohol.

FIRST COMIC: Whitman "Looney Tunes." First Super Hero comics was DC Comics "Green Lantern" #203 and I admit it's because based on the cover I thoughy Mickey Mouse was getting a Green Lantern ring!
