I’m a writer-filmmaker who has lived an ordinary/extraordinary life. Born and bred in Seattle, I moved to Los Angeles after college to do the film “thing.” I interned for a number of production companies, sweated things out as an assistant to Oliver Stone, had some fun at Disney Studios, and got a Masters in Film from USC. Now I’m back in Seattle, working at the University of Washington by day, crafting my plans to take over the world by night.
I’ve got a wife who I adore (even if she doesn’t quite “get” comics) and two terrific kids (we watch “Brave and the Bold” together and they love the “Tiny Titans”). My passion for comics started at a young age, and although my enthusiasm for the industry ebbs and flows, my feelings for the art form and its heroes never change. I’ve got some big ideas about the next few years of my life, and I can’t wait to see what happens next…
