Held every year on the beautiful campus of Michigan State University, home of the largest public collection of comic books, The Michigan State University Comics Forum is a 2 day event that brings together scholars, creators, and fans in order to explore celebrate the medium of comics, graphic storytelling, and sequential art.

Keynote Address with Nate Powell
7:00pm - 8:30pm
Join Nate Powell, creator of Swallow Me Whole(Eisner Award winner for Best Graphic Novel, LA Times Book Prize Finalist, and Ignatz Award winner), Please Release, and contributions to Eisner-nominated anthologies, as he gives the keynote address for The MSU comics Forum 2011. The Keynote will take place in the Residential College of Arts & Humaities Theatre located in the basement of Snyder Phillips hall, Michigan State University.

Artist Alley
11:00am - 5:00pm
Many comic creators, Profesionals and Amatuers, will be and on hand with comics, sketches, art, cards, and prints for sale in the LookOut! Gallery located on the second floor of the RCAH Snyder/Phillips hall, Michigan State University. You can see the full list of Creators on the Artist Alley section of the website.
Artist and Scholar Panels
11:30am-4:30pm
Throughout the day there will be several panel discussions with academics studying comic books and professionals working in the comic book industry. Panels will take place in the classrooms located on the second floor of the RCAH Snyder/Phillips hall, Michigan State University.
