September Cartoonist in Residence: Yasmin Golan @ Cartoon Art Museum

The Cartoon Art Museum hosts cartoonist Yasmin Golan on Saturday, September 10, 2011 from 1pm to 3pm, as part of its ongoing Cartoonist-in-Residence program. Museum visitors will be offered the chance to talk to Yasmin about cartooning and view her work. This event is free and open to the public.

Yasmin is a San Francisco-based visual and culinary artist whose illustrated books and zines cover a range of subjects, including the mysterious six floors of Paris apartment buildings, her father’s emigration from a socialist kibbutz in Israel to working class America, Michael Jackson’s masculinity, and life in and around professional kitchens.
