The LOS ANGELES COMIC BOOK AND SCIENCE FICTION CONVENTION presents DAWN WELLS (Mary Ann) on the Special Milestone 50th Anniversary of GILLIGAN'S ISLAND and Stars from the Cartoon Network's ADVENTURE TIME are among the Special Guests appearing at the First Show of the New Year being held on SUNDAY, JANUARY 5, 2014.

DAWN WELLS starred as Mary Ann during the original 1964-67 CBS-TV run of GILLIGAN'S ISLAND and the series continues to be popular today. Dawn reprised her role of Mary Ann in the CBS-TV Specials Rescue From Gilligan's Island (1978), The Castaways on Gilligan's Island (1979), The Harlem Globetrotters on Gilligan's Island (1981) and the animated series Gilligan's Planet (1982).

Some of Dawn's other credits include guest starring on such Television series as The Invaders, The Wild, Wild, West, 77 Sunset Strip, Maverick, Hawaiian Eye, Bonanza, Alf, The Love Boat, Fantasy Island and starring in cult movies such as The Town That Dreaded Sundown, Return to Boggy Creek, and Winterhawk. Dawn currently performs around the US in the theater starring in comedies, dramas and musicals. Meet Dawn Wells during this Special 50th Anniversary year of GILLIGAN'S ISLAND.

MARTIN OLSON is the Voice of Hunson Abadeer The Lord of Evil and his daughter OLIVIA OLSON is the Voice of Marceline the Vampire Queen on the popular Cartoon Network series ADVENTURE TIME. Martin and OIivia will sign the new book THE ADVENTURE TIME ENCYCLOPAEDIA. Martin is the writer of The Adventure Time Encyclopaedia and among his many credits are writing for the animated series Phineas and Ferb (over sixty episodes), Rocko's Modern Life, Camp Lazlo and Extreme Ghostbusters. Martin's first satire book, Encyclopaedia of Hell inspired the format for The Adventure Time Encyclopaedia. Olivia is also the voice of Vanessa Doofenshmitz in Phineas and Ferb and she has also performed many songs for that show as well as singing the "The Fry Song" on Adventure Time. Martin and Olivia's The Father-Daughter Album of Unspeakable Beauty, Olivia's Beauty is Chaos EP and Martin's Encyclopaedia of Hell will also be available to purchase.

TONY MILLIONAIRE is one of the Artists for THE ADVENTURE TIME ENCYCLOPAEDIA and he will be signing the book along with Martin Olson and Olivia Olson. Tony is known for his Comic Strip Maakies and Sock Monkey Comics. Animated versions of Tony's work have been featured in The Drinky Crow Show on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim and the Maakies on Saturday Night Live. Tony's work has garnered five Eisner Awards, three Harvey Awards, and an Ignatz Award.

Marvel and DC Comics Artist JON BOGDANOVE is known for his art for several DC Comics Superman titles. Jon is the co-creator of Steel and the Death of Superman storyline. Jon has also illustrated such Marvel Comics as Alpha Flight, Power Pack, and Fantastic Four vs. X-Men. Jon will be signing autographs and taking sketch commissions from 10:00 A.M.-5:00 P.M.

KEVIN GREVIOUX stars as Dekar in the new Movie I, FRANKENSTEIN from Lions Gate Entertainment. Kevin is also the writer of the original screenplay for I, FRANKENSTEIN based on his Graphic Novel published by Darkstorm Studios. I, FRANKENSTEIN is the story of gargoyles and demons raging a battle for ultimate power, with Victor Frankenstein's creation Adam Frankenstein caught in the middle between both sides as they try to discover his secret to immortality. Kevin created the original premise and was co-writer of Underworld in addition to starring as Raze in Underworld and Underworld: Rise of the Lycans. Kevin has written for Marvel Comics on New Warriors, Adam: Legend of the Blue Marvel, Spider-Man vs. Vampires, and for Red Circle Comics, ZMD: Zombies of Mass Destruction. Kevin is currently the voice of Blue Beetle in the animated series Young Justice.

The LOS ANGELES COMIC BOOK AND SCIENCE FICTION CONVENTION will take place SUNDAY, JANUARY 5, 2014 at the Shrine Auditorium Expo Center, 700 West 32nd Street, in Los Angeles, across the street from USC College. Show Hours are 10:00 A.M.-5:00 P.M. Regular Admission is only $10.00, five years and under are free. Early Admission is $12.00.
