The Taipei International Comics and Animation Festival will kick off Feb. 4, featuring graphic artists, animation directors and voice actors from Japan and Taiwan, organizers said Monday.
The festival, now in its second year, will feature 430 booths manned by 50 exhibitors, as well as 44 book-signing and other publicity events, said Roger Kao, secretary-general of the Taipei-based Chinese Animation and Comic Publishers Association.
Last year's festival attracted 330,000 visitors and generated NT$130 million (US$4.33 million) in revenues, Kao told CNA.
