New York Comic Book Marketplace

The New York Comic Book Marketplace, NYC's most exciting one-day comic book convention, is inviting kids and people of all ages with costumes to come to the New Yorker Hotel on Saturday, March 1, from 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM. It will be an exciting day of superheroes, science fiction, fantasy horror, and pop culture for people of all ages!

Children ages 10 and under will have FREE ADMISSION all day long! There will be a special children's costume contest at 2:30 PM with special prizes for all! All day log kid will get to meet famous artists of their favorite characters, as well as young up-and-comers showing where the future of comics is headed.

Costume enthusiasts are in for a treat as Captain Zorikh's Costume Contest returns to NYCBM at 3:00 PM, immediately following the children's contest.. Widely known as the “most fun costume contest n the East Coast,” this is an exciting, fast-paced extravaganza in which costumed characters strut their stuff and the audience lets them know who they like. Fabulous prizes from Midtown Comics, Forbidden Planet, Action Burger restaurant, and other fine establishments, a free “zombification” make-up job from Action Vance, and special surprises!

The New York Comic Book Marketplace will be held at the Hotel New Yorker, 481 Eighth Avenue, New York, New York 10001, from 10 AM – 6 PM, with special early admission at 9 AM. Tickets are currently $15 for regular admission, $30 for VIP early admission.
