Savanah College of Art and Design's SCADCon’s stated mission is to maximize awareness and appreciation of popular art forms such as film, comics, gaming and animation through education, presentations, exhibit space, portfolio reviews, forums, screenings and other events that celebrate contributions to visual storytelling within the entertainment industry.
SCADCon will be open to the public and is expected to attract fans from all over the Southeast United States and beyond. Organizers are looking to provide an eclectic range of programming spanning the mediums of comics, film, television, animation and video games, among others.
