Harvey Pekar, known to a large and loyal cult following as “the master of the mundane” thanks to his 30+ years producing the autobiographical comic series turned critically acclaimed film American Splendor, brings his eclectically profound and idiosyncratic look at life and art to the stage alongside outspoken “Dykes to Watch Out For” creator Alison Bechdel whose graphic-novel memoir Fun Home: A Family Tragicomic was named the No. 1 book of 2006 by Time Magazine.
