Catalyst Comix #1

"Catalyst Comix" #1 has a great story structure as it brings back the old Golden City characters, but Joe Casey, Dan McDaid, Paul Maybury and Ulises Farinas's comic feels a little overwritten.

Sex #2

"Sex" continues to be a smart satire of the superhero genre, but its repressed hero suffers from a lack of direction.

Sex #1

Joe Casey clearly has a lot to say about the fine line between sex and violence, but "Sex" #1 is slow to get to the point. Luckily the excellent art and colors waste no time.

Vengeance #1

Joe Casey digs deep into his own Marvel history for this mini-series. All that this comic is missing is Jack Truman and Larry Young. (Am I the only one who gets that?)

Deadpool Team-Up #886

Iron Fist steals the limelight and Deadpool quiets down so as to be funny and not annoying. Then Dragotta nails the visuals so hard.
