Guarding the Globe #1

I hate to say it, but the fake advertising campaign for "Guarding the Globe" was more amusing than the real thing.

Pilot Season: Stellar #1

Robert Kirkman’s Top Cow “Pilot Season” experiment continues, this time with cool locations, hot ladies, alien monsters, and big action. At least Kirkman says that’s all in here. He’s mostly right.

The Walking Dead #75

While the series has its weak spots, the strengths still overcome them. Adlard's art carries the story, and Kirkman excels at creating dramatic situations.

Pilot Season: Stealth #1

Kirkman and Silvestri continue to offer up "Pilot Season" books, with a character that believes "No one is above the law." Of course, that character seems to think he is.

Image United #1

It's an interesting idea, but at the end of the first issue it's still more stunt and less story.

Image United #1

Most of the Image founders unite on a mega-event jam reunion action adventure. It isn't very good, though.

Turns out, this long-forgotten Golden Age character is still alive and kicking butt. More of the latter than the former.

Even if the event of this book were just the cover, it would be a success. "Invincible" #60 has a lot of action packed inside that extra-wide cover.
