All-New Ghost Rider #2

"All-New Ghost Rider" #2 is definitely all-new courtesy Felipe Smith and Tradd Moore when it comes to Ghost Rider's vehicle, but there's enough familiarity that readers shouldn't be lost.

Deadpool Annual #1

An enjoyable comic built to answer a popular question, "Deadpool Annual" #11 is worth a read -- but maybe not worth $4.99.

Harley Quinn

Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti's script for "Harley Quinn" #0 is slight, but deliberately so; they're letting the art do the heavy lifting, and more importantly it succeeds in this deliberately silly comic.

Cataclysm: Ultimate Spider-Man #1

"Cataclysm: Ultimate Spider-Man" #1 doesn't leap into the Galactus-fueled event, but rather follows Brian Michael Bendis and Dave Marquez on the scenic tour through the lives of younger Ultimate Marvel Universe characters.

Zero #2

"Zero" #2 by Ales Kot and Tradd Moore is an intense but uneven issue that focuses on the brutally harsh and cold formative years of Edward Zero, the eventual soldier/assassin seen in the series' introductory issue.

The Legend of Luther Strode #6

Justin Jordan and Tradd Moore conclude the middle volume of their trilogy with "The Legend of Luther Strode" #6, and while I miss the wonder of the original mini-series, this is still a satisfying comic.

The Legend of Luther Strode #4

Justin Jordan and Tradd Moore's "The Legend of Luther Strode" #4 ups the violence even as some pieces of story are resolved, but it's lacking the spark that made "The Strange Talent of Luther Strode" so appealing.
