Ben Affleck Batman v Superman

With a hard PG-13 rating and an R-rated home video version on the way, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is a superhero film for comparatively mature audiences. That audience, as Batman actor Ben Affleck revealed to The Hollywood Reporter, will not include Affleck's 4-year-old son, Samuel

"Four years old is a little young to see this whole movie," Affleck said. "I don't want him to have nightmares." The actor then came up with a possible solution for Samuel, who is a Batman superfan and partly the reason why Affleck took on the role in the first place. "I'll have to con one of the editors into giving me a truncated version of the movie without some of the scarier stuff."

Affleck said that his 10-year-old daughter Violet will be able to see the film, and also said that his son has seen the trailers for the film as well as other footage that's appeared online. The father says that those two-minute clips are pretty much "his whole attention span anyway."

Directed by Zack Snyder and starring Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg, Laurence Fishburne, Amy Adams and others, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" hits screens on March 25.
