The possibility of a "Supergirl"/"The Flash" crossover is still alive.

During the Television Critics Association winter press tour, CBS president Glenn Geller hinted at new potential for a crossover between CBS' "Supergirl" and The CW's "The Flash" (via TheWrap).

"I have to be really careful what I say here," Geller said. "Watch and wait and see what happens."

When asked the same question last weekend, executive producer Greg Berlanti revealed, "It would have to be figured out very soon... I would love it, a lot of things would have to go right and people would have to say 'Yes.' It would all have to be figured out in the next month or so. As it remains right now we’ve talked internally about how cool it would be, but we haven’t had official conversations. [The CW chief Mark Pedowitz] is supportive."

Earlier comments from Andrew Kreisberg regarding a CW series interacting with one airing on CBS originally indicated that the possibilities were slim. "First of all, we don’t even know if we could, legally," Kreisberg said in Dec. 2015. "Quite frankly, just making the 'Arrow'-verse which is what we call 'Legends,' 'Flash' and 'Arrow' work and then making 'Supergirl' work, it's enough of a challenge without having to add a fourth player."

However, Geller's latest remarks make it seem as though the door is more open than previously thought.

"Supergirl" airs on Mondays on CBS; "The Flash" and "Arrow" air on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, respectively, on the CW.
