BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE
There have been rumors that Ben Affleck might direct a solo Batman film. While his recent comments to USA Today don't confirm those rumors, they don't deny them either.
"I’ll just say going through the process, I would never have imagined that I could or would direct a movie like this," said Affleck. "And in working with ['Batman v Superman' director Zack Snyder] and seeing what he did and watching him every day, I got really inspired by that and by seeing the scope on which he was telling the story, by seeing what he was able to do with this kind of mythic story on a grand scale."

In a chat with CBR, "Agent Carter" showrunners Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters talked about whether or not their version of Whitney Frost will put on her signature gold mask from the comics
"Yeah, it's one of those things where as much as we're based on characters that come from the comic books, we're not a comic book show. So we always try to find our version of a character," said Butters.
"You're not going to see her in a gold mask, but it's not like you're not not going to not see something," said Fazekas, cryptically.
Butters added: "We play with those concepts, sort of like, 'How do we allude to something?' And so you feel it without it being so blatant."
Returns to ABC on January 19
While chatting with TV Line, Colin Donnell revealed whether or not he'd ever be up for returning to "Arrow" in the role of Tommy Merlyn.
"I’m all down for it. I would be so happy to be back on 'Arrow' or on 'Legends of Tomorrow,' in whatever capacity," said Donnell. "There’s got to be something where an evil Tommy pops up. I want him to be totally different than what he was before." When asked if he'd be up for appearing as Tommy's Earth-2 counterpart on "The Flash," he replied, "Yes! That would be amazing! We need to talk to [executive producers] Marc [Guggenheim] and Andrew [Kreisberg]. How do we make this happen? I need a day off from '[Chicago] Med' first… I love those guys. I’ve always said, any time they’ve got stuff for me, if it works out with the schedule, I would love to come back, and even more so now. I haven’t felt like I’ve left the family in any way."
"Arrow" EP Wendy Mericle also spoke with TV Line, revealing more of what's in store for the show when it returns, specifically for Colton Haynes' Roy Harper.
"Whenever we bring people back -- same with [Caity Lotz's] Sara [Lance] -- we always have a very specific character reason in mind. We wanted to see Colton [Haynes] again, we wanted to bring Roy back into the fold -- at least temporarily," said Mericle. "He’s going to have a really cool and emotional story with Oliver and Thea when he comes back."

Things start to heat up between Jay Garrick and Caitlin Snow in this new clip from tonight's "Flash."
There's also a new trailer for the show's return episode, which airs tonight on the CW.
"Zoom starts to become the White Whale for Barry, that thing that’s circling out there that’s haunting him, that Barry knows could come across the breach and destroy him at any moment," Kreisberg explained. "It's a very different angst that he has this year than he had last year. What I don't think he's fully aware of is they’re actually linked and that will start to play out more as the season progresses... At some point, [Team Flash is] going to decide to take the fight to Zoom."

LEGENDS OF TOMORROW
There's a new promo for "Legends," one that involves a bar fight.
In an interview with CBR, Victor Garber shared that his character, Martin Stein, will share a number of scenes with Brandon Routh's Ray Palmer.
"Brandon [Routh] and I was unexpected, that pair," said Garber. "We have a couple of very heartfelt moments. We started off as un-slightly contemptuous of him. He points out that he was a student of mine. There's these scenes where I'm sort of playing psychological games with him. What happens is that Stein is really behind him. That was a nice character shift and a nice thing to play. Brandon has this kind of innocence about him, not only as an actor but as a person. He's a very sweet person, Brandon is. I think I feel like he enjoyed it, and I know I did. We had some very poignant scenes together."
KSiteTV interviewed "Legends of Tomorrow" executive producer Phil Klemmer about Rachel Taylor, the role that Jewel Staite will play when she guest stars on the show later this season.
"She’s related to one of our heroes," said Klemmer. "We will find that she’s not a person off the street. We are going into the most distant future that we will be visiting, and we will find that she is the biological result of something that one of our characters either directly or indirectly did before their recruitment in the pilot, in 2016. As we know, when we pull our characters out of the timeline, they cease to have an effect on the future, but this will be a sort of Ghost of Christmas Future where somebody will realize that something that they did before they left had a butterfly effect on the future that will effectively — they will have aided and abetted Vandal Savage’s rise to power."

Premieres on Fox in 2016
There's a recap of last night's episode, "Childish Things," right over here on CBR. And following last night's episode, a promo was aired for next week's installment, "Strange Visitor from Another Planet."
During a press event, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg spoke about the upcoming version of Bizarro that'll be seen on the show.
"Cat coins her Bizarro, which I think is very appropriate," said Kreisberg. "As she says, 'I named Supergirl, I can name her enemies.' I think the biggest thing about that it was sort of a surprise for us as we were constructing the character and the arc is how sad Bizarro is. In a way, we sort of think about her like Frankenstein. She’s a monster, but she has a pure child’s heart. Ironically, in the episode, while everyone else is saying we’ve got to figure out a way to destroy her, Kara is the only one to say, 'No, no, we have to save her.' I think that makes that episode so emblematic what’s so special about Kara, that she’s looking to save everybody, even if they’re the bad guy."
