LEGENDS OF TOMORROW
The CW has released another character-focused promo for the show, this time featuring White Canary.

According to TV Line, Jewel Staite will play Rachel Turner, described as a "tech genius/roboticist who exists in a future in which technology has an even firmer grip on our lives than it does today." The announcement also mentions that Turner, scheduled to appear in the show's tenth episode, is the latest in a long line of inventors and the descendent of a DC Comics character. The character description states that Rachel Turner "believes that her creations can make that world a better place," but that her inventions are "destined" to be taken by "Legends" villain Vandal Savage, who will use them as tools for world conquest.

POWERLESS
The Hollywood Reporter has announced that DC Entertainment's "Powerless," a workplace comedy set in the DC Universe, has been ordered to pilot at NBC. News of "Powerless" first broke last August, with the show described as similar to "The Office," but set in a world filled with superheroes. It's not yet known what -- if any -- DC Comics heroes and villains may appear in the show, as the series (as the title implies) is focused on regular folks living in the DC Universe.

PREACHER
Ahead of its premiere on AMC sometime in mid-2016, "Preacher" will debut during the South by Southwest festival. Variety announced that "Preacher" will be part of SXSW's film programming, which runs from March 11-19. The show's page also includes a new still from the AMC series.

TITANS
During a presentation at this year's TCA conference, TNT president Kevin Reilly revealed that production on the long in-development drama series based on DC's "Teen Titans" property has been stopped. Deadline broke the news, saying that Reilly said that the network "decided it wasn’t where we wanted to go.” Deadline notes that "Titans" had previously been ordered to pilot by the "previous network regime."

WOLVERINE 3
"Wolverine" star Hugh Jackman posted a photo on Twitter of himself posing by the four-clawed prosthetic "Enter the Dragon" villain Mr. Han used in his final battle with Bruce Lee. The only text Jackman included was "4??????? #Wolverine." It's likely that Jackman is just continuing to build interest for "Wolverine 3," but there is a slight chance that he could have been talked into a fourth solo film.
